Alamkouh & Takht-e-Solayman region is
the most beautiful mountainous region in Iran. Locating
less than 50km south of Caspian sea, Alamkouh
peak (4860m) (also written as Alamkooh or Alamkuh) as the second highest point of Iran has stood in
the heart of this region. The north wall of Alamkouh (around
500m of steep granite wall) is the most challenging wall in the
country, which has been surrounded by many peaks above 4000m.
